GHANA-TURKEY

Following Ghana’s independence in 1957, diplomatic relations were established between the two countries in 1958 and our first Ambassador in Accra was appointed in October 1964. Our Embassy, ​​whose activities were terminated in 1981 due to austerity measures, reopened on 1 February 2010. Establishing an Embassy in Ankara in Ghana in 2012.

Turkey-Ghana trade volume of 40.7 million dollars, while in 2010, 2011 and more than 10-fold increase in the year 2012 is provided.
